FIne Motor and Problem Solving Fun

I always put a sample of an art project on the wall and then tell my kindergarteners to « make it! » I give them nothing to trace or cut out. Just a model. This really has them practice their fine motor skills, problem solving skills, and creativity! Yeah it might not look perfect, but it doesn’t need to me!

Here is a geometric shape craft. I told them to make a picture only using rectangles

I always put something on the board. Then I give them NO directions. Just the supplies. I love seeing what kind of products they end up with. It’s a great way for them to problem solve
